Pinnacle Peppermint Bark Vodka Review

Pinnacle Peppermint Bark is one of the latest efforts by Pinnacle,  and represents a bold new flavor profile for vodka. While many companies have attempted to bring in fruit flavors to vodkas in the past, Pinnacle has married the alcohol burn of vodka with a similarly sharp peppermint flavor. What results is a product that is quite like a peppermint candy, albeit in a liquid form. The spirit works great in a shot format, but one should delve into different mixed drinks recipes to find one to match the peppermint spirit of the vodka. We had great luck in recreating Pamela Salzman’s mint, cucumber and vodka cocktail utilizing the Peppermint Bark, while a Long Island Iced Tea was provided a bold and distinct flavor when the Peppermint Bark vodka was included into the mix.

For those into more challenging uses of the Peppermint Bark vodka, pour a shot of the vodka and follow it with a similar measure of chocolate syrup. For those making Mint Pies, swap half of the water that a crust recipe needs for the Peppermint Bark vodka, for an extra shot of mint.

Pinnacle Peppermint Bark is available at a wide variety of liquor stores; look to spend about $10-16 on a 750ml bottle. Check out the Pinnacle website for information about the wide array of different flavors that Pinnacle has created, and a set of recipes that will make their spirits absolutely shine. Here’s to hoping that vodka can continue to take on these bold and unique sorts of flavors; I know that I’ve been getting bored of the traditional flavors of the spirit (orange, grape, raspberry).
