Dutch Uncles have revealed a new video and a quite a lot of hairy skin for ‘In n Out’, the lead single from new album O Shudder, released 23rd February 2015.
Interpreting the song’s layered subject matter – sexual desires, dreams of crossing the ‘friend zone’ and the isolation of never being able to return to a perfect first moment – the video (dir. Jody Whittle) combines and explores these concepts of being ‘In and Out’, both literally and figuratively.
Complimenting the track’s synth-led, future-pop groove, Duncan Wallis plays the role of a traveller from the future, dreaming of a female spirit who eventually expels him from the comfort and thrill of a womb-like spacecraft, leaving him alone, never to return.
Currently rehearsing for their biggest shows yet in London and Manchester next year, the band have just announced a warm-up shows at Stoke Sugarmill and Belfast Limelight 2.
