Monterrey, Mexico-based Melodic Proggressive Metal outfit THE ADVENT EQUATION have just released a video for the song “A Violent Motion,” taken off their 2012 full-length, self-released debut album, Limitless Life Reflections. The video is now playing at this location. Limitless Life Reflections is a 60-minute juggernaut of power and beauty, that’s sure to appeal to fans of heavyweights like OPETH and KATATONIA. The album was mixed and produced by Alberto “Charles” Leal at Psicofonia Productions with studio mastering by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Amon Amarth, Devin Townsend) at Fascination Street studios, Örebro, Sweden. The striking artwork was created by Colin Marks (Nevermore, Scar Symmetry, All Shall Perish) at Rain Song Design, London, England. Purchase the album via iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby and other online retailers. “The Advent Equation is much more of a reflective intellectual style of metal, ruled by heavy, often somber soundscapes, a mixture of harsh and clean vocals, crushing rhythms, tons of extremely inventive melodic lines and an amazing use of keyboardist tremendous skills, especially in the one keyboard you rarely if ever hear in a metal band, the piano. Fantastic debut album by this heavy and introspective Mexican progressive death metal band.” – Jeff Stevens, Prog Metal Zone “This album should be heard by all, not just metalheads, but by anyone who wants to know what beautiful music is all about.” - Mr Dread, The Dread Music Review |
