WWE The Best of In Your House Blu-Ray Review

In Your House was a value-priced PPV that the WWE ran from 1995 to 1999. All in all, 28 events carried the In Your House banner. This Blu-Ray (also available on DVD) contains two discs of matches, bonus features, and ultimately will provide viewers with about 9 hours of footage. The PPV series was important in that it provided the first time for some of the most memorable match types (Buried Alive, Inferno, and Hell in the Cell matches), along with matches from some of the greatest WWE wrestlers (Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, HHH). A diamond of this set has to be the Ken Shamrock vs. Mankind Intercontinental Championship match from 1998, which showcases a tremendous amount of ring psychology and overall intensity. Fans of the Undertaker will love the Buried Alive match that pitted Undertaker and Mankind, while the D’Lo Brown and X-Pac showcases a considerably different style than was present on the other segments of the release.

The video quality of the matches is extraordinarily sharp, ensuring that those that pick up this Blu-Ray will be able to view the matches in their original form. The WWE has included a few additional featurettes to this release, which include a coverage of the winner of the In Your House contest along with different outtakes from Todd Pettengill.

A copy of WWE The Best of In Your House can be purchased from any well-stocked physical retailer or from a wide variety of online stores.
