Usana has just released a line of protein snacks – Choco Chip, Peanutty Bliss, and Fudge Delite – that will provide a solid boost top one’s energy and drive for those long days or immediately preceding or following a particularly vigorous workout. The bars can also be used in those weight loss programs; make sure to replace a donut or afternoon candy bar with an Usana Protein Snack, and the diet will turn in some serious losses. Each of the flavors or gluten free and contains over 10 grams of protein (Choco Chip and Peanutty Bliss both have 11 grams of protein, while Fudge Delite has 12 grams). The protein snacks have also been created using only non-GMO (genetically-modified organisms), while providing a taste that is comparable to fresh-baked cookies. One is provided this protein boost on a small amount of carbohydrates (the Choco Chip has 160 calories and only 5 grams of fat). The Choco Chip approximates a chocolate chip cookie, the Peanutty Bliss a peanut butter cookie, while the Fudge Delite flavor straddles the line between double chocolate cookie and fudge brownie.
The only thing that I would change about the overall texture of the Usana Soft Baked Bars would be the incredibly small amount of fibrousness that is present when one bites into the bar.
