Will Butler extends spring tour

Policy, the debut album from Will Butler, will be in stores on March 10 in the US and March 16 in the rest of the world. The video for “Anna” was directed by Will himself and highlights his efforts to bring a “100% serious, but 100% joking” attitude back to modern rock.

 

Billboard describes Policy as “a sophisticated amalgam of styles: garage rock, synth-and-sax minimalism, and HoJo-lounge funk.”

Will Butler’s first tour without Arcade Fire finds him “really excited to fill small venues with a 4-piece. We’ll still be plenty loud.” The tour will open in New York on March 5 and continue to SXSW before heading to Europe.
