-Who are you and how long have you been active?
I’m a semi-professional musician, an anesthetist professional. I studied piano for five years at Università della Musica Roma Italy (1992-1997), and I play the guitar too. I played the keyboards in some bands for amusement. I liked always to compose music in my free time, and I wish spread my music now! Half Time is my first CD published. (Oct 2012). I’ve been active for 20 years.
-Who are you listening to right now?
The Alan Parsons Project
-How does a track move from initial thought to finished effort?
Moment by moment my music evolves.
-How has your style evolved and changed over the time since you first started? Where do you think that your overall sound will go to in the months and years in the future?
More “fusion” at the beginning, more “lounge – chill out” now, perhaps in the future “ambient”
-What bands would you say are your greatest influences, and how do they factor into your sound?
The Alan Parsons Project, Vangelis, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Michel Jarre, and Pink Floyd.
-On any Youtube video, there are countless genres thrown around for any song. How does that help or hurt music and musicians, and what genre(s) would your music fall into?
In music, everyone does as he wishes, it is the public who then judge. So if you have to live music are forced to produce what that people want, otherwise just do what you feel, you will have less success and more educated public. My music fall into Electronic Chill Out Lounge
-How do you feel things are different musically and culturally between Italy and the rest of the world?
Italian music is melodic too, I’ve always preferred to listen to foreign music, English and USA. I like the rhythm and groove!
-What does the rest of 2013 hold for you, and how can readers connect with you and your music?
I’m working on a new album, which I plan to finish in 2013. An album more homogeneous in style. Stay tuned on www.bredice.it and www.facebook.com/giannibredice
-Are there any other factoids or bits of information about you that Neufutur readers should know about?
I like photography as a hobby, as a sport I practice swimming and skydiving. I like riding my motorcycle too!
