Disney has ensured that there are enough episodes for viewers; 12 episodes are present, along with a featurette, “Take Two With Phineas and Ferb”. The DVD also includes a spy kit, including a set of cards, binoculars, and an O.W.C.A. ID badge. This featurette provides viewers with a set of cameos made by a varied set of celebrities. Tying this Perry-heavy DVD into the source material (Phineas and Ferb) provides additional replay value for the DVD, while the inclusion of the two-part “Where’s Perry” cliffhanger allows viewers to capture a decided break from the typical fare of The Perry Files. Other favorite episodes include Bowl-R-Drama, Isabella and the Temple of Sap, and Lotsa Latkes. Whether taking on the form of a homage to older cinema, ethnic delicacies, and slightly more esoteric sports.
The Perry Files: Animal Agents is a perfect release for anyone that is a fan of Phineas and Ferb or of Perry specifically. The physical and visual elements of this DVD are perfect for children from 4-12, and the sheer amount of episodes will ensure that parents can stick with the disc even through repeat viewings.
Make sure to pick up a copy of this DVD when it drops down into retail stores on February 26th. Intrepid buyers can find preorders of this release for about $15. Make sure to check out the Disney website for more information regarding the slate of releases that Disney will be releasing in 2013.
