Not everyone has the gift of being suave with the ladies, but until some software company invents a microchip that can be self-installed, the majority of people must live out their fantasies vicariously through others.
According to UrbanDictionary.com, a casanova is “a smooth-talking charmer who has mastered the art of finding, meeting, attracting and seducing beautiful women into the bedroom. One he accomplishes his goal, he leaves the woman in fear of having a relationship and proceeds to find his next conquest.”
Sounds like rock ‘n’ roll to us… and to progressive hardcore band SPEAKING THE KING’S from Orange County, California, who are debuting the video for the track “Casanova” on the Alternative Press home page: www.altpress.com/aptv/video/video_premiere_speaking_the_kings_casanova
Directed by DJ Cosgrove (War Of Ages, Eliacim MartÃnez, Redbull), STK’S guitarist Mike Entin shares:
“This was one of our first songs we wrote as a band; we felt like it was a good way to introduce us to the world. Not only was it one of our first songs, but this was also our first professionally filmed music video. It was a very long and grueling process, but director DJ Cosgrove and the rest of Robby Starbuck’s team made it an amazing experience. Can’t wait to show everyone what else we have in stored for 2013.”
Formed during the winter of 2011, SPEAKING THE KING’S demos quickly captured the attention of A Day To Remember producer, songwriter, and former guitarist TOM DENNEY (Pierce The Veil, Secrets), who ushered the band into his Florida-based studio to record their first arsenal of music. Mixed by Zeuss (SUICIDE SILENCE, STICK TO YOUR GUNS, CLOSE TO HOME), the band’s debut album is slated for a 2013 release.
STK’S has shared stages with We Came As Romans, Of Mice & Men, Blessthefall, Winds of Plague, and Bleeding Through.
