Korn Release Spike In My Veins Video

Fugitive Edward Snowden, Miley Cyrus, disgraced Toronto mayor Rob Ford and Kanye West all “star” in “Spike In My Veins,” the provocative new video from KORN that’s based on the second single from their Top 10 album THE PARADIGM SHIFT (Released October 8 on Prospect Park). Government corruption, NSA spying tactics, political scandals, the cult of celebrity and more–the video’s assaultive imagery underlines and comments on how the media projects chaos into our lives. “We are the ones taking all the pain/Falling on our faces, they don’t care anyway,” KORN frontman Jonathan Davis announces in the opening lines of “Spike In My Veins,” currently Top 10 and rising on the rock chart. As previously reported, KORN–Jonathan Davis [Vocals], James “Munky” Shaffer [Guitar], Brian “Head” Welch [Guitar], Reggie “Fieldy” Arvizu [Bass] and Ray Luzier [Drums]–scored their 12th Top 10 album with THE PARADIGM SHIFT which entered the Billboard albums chart at #8 last October. According to, “…this debut ties KORN with Dave Matthews Band for the most top 10 albums by a band in the SoundScan era (May 1991-present). Among all acts in that time span, George Strait has logged the most, with 18.”
