Dear God - Transparent Soul

Dear God by Transparent Soul is a powerful hard rock track that showcases a good amount of emotion. Where a number of the more intense rock songs tend to ignore the vocal side of things, what Transparent Soul does here is keep listeners on the edges of their seats through heavy thoughts and a passion that is hard to deny. The production of Dear God allows each of the elements to shine alone or together as a cohesive entity; there are more than enough in the way of twists and turns that listeners will ultimately find over the course of repeat spins.

The unique sound that is exhibited here builds off the work of acts like Disturbed, Seether, and Papa Roach. However, there is a sense during Dear God that every single note has a purpose here. This means that listeners can appreciate what is being done here while cleaning up the house or driving around, but that the full depth of meaning that is presented here can only be fully understood if an individual straps on a pair of headphones and really mulls over what is being discussed.

While this is just one single, I believe that the richness of this track bodes well for any extended play releases or full albums that Transparent Soul may release in the months and years to come. This is one of the first hard rock songs of 2016 we have heard that has the legs to make it through the summer. For more information about Dear God and the constituent elements of Transparent Soul, give their domain or Facebook a spin. We are excited to hear what the band has in store for the rest of the year; check the band out live if you are around Knoxville.
