17th Anniversary Gotterdammerung IPA Review

Stone has decided to celebrate their 17th anniversary in a huge fashion, and have created their Götterdämmerung IPA to both provide a blast of hoppy goodness alongside a substantial alcohol bite. The beer pours clearly with a light copper color, providing imbibers with hints of flowers and grass. The initial sip ties together pilsner and IPA styles, allowing the immense drinkability of the pilsner style to be pushed into a greater plateau with a distinctive hop bite. The inclusion of a variety of German (Herkules, Hersbrucker, Magnum, Merkur) and U.S. (Sterling) hops provides an inimitable flavor to the Götterdämmerung. The 22 ounce serving size of the beer is perfect to provide for a fulfilling experience; the initial sweet notes (apricots, grapefruit, pineapple) keep the alcohol burn moderated. With each subsequent sip, a different blend of tastes ensures that imbibers will stick with the Götterdämmerung IPA until their last sip.

Make sure to check your local beer store for your own bottle of the Götterdämmerung IPA, and visit the Stone Brewery website (stonebrewing.com) or their Facebook (www.facebook.com/stonebrew ) for the latest updates on their seasonal brews.
