Kim Cameron Seaper Powers: The Mystery of the Blue Pearls Book Review

There are so many childrens’ titles that are released on a regular basic that it becomes extremely hard to separate the wheat from the chaff. Kim Cameron has a title that should be purchased by parents that wish to provide their children with imaginative settings and challenging (but ultimately approachable) reading. The physical and audio versions of this book are two different entities, as Kim has provided music and sound effects to the narrative. In Seaper Powers:The Mystery of the Blue Pearls, Emma has been given an opportunity by the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) to determine the cause of the titular pearls. Along the way, Emma enlists the aid of an octopus and starkest to ensure that the world can be kept safe. While the title has fantastical elements, I believe that it succeeds because it teaches readers good social skills and a specific set of morals. Specifically, The Mystery of the Blue Pearls informs readers to get permission from one’s elders as well as to ask for help when the situation requires,. By inserting these morals into a fun and interesting titles, Cameron has ensured that parents are actively assisting with the formation of their child’s beliefs.

Seaper Powers: The Mystery of the Blue Pearls runs about 66 pages, while the audio version of the title will occupy about an hour and a quarter. For those that have finished The Mystery of the Blue Pearls, Cameron has written a prequel title in the series – In Search of Bleu Jay’s Treasure. Both the audio CD and the paperback can be purchased from Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Make sure to visit Cameron’s website for samples from the books and the list of tour dates that she is conducting in support for book series.
