SARA ALINA has just released her new single “Die With This Life,” available now on iTunes. The Florida teen has also unveiled a new music video for the song; check it out here: youtu.be/bxronLw2HnM.
“’Die With This Life’ is a song about living your life to the fullest and realizing that you have done everything you wanted with no regrets,” SARA explains. “I wrote this song because it inspires happiness. To be happy is the most important thing in life because you only have one life, so make it count!”
The release of the propulsive dance track follows a busy week for SARA who performed at the Teen Party Expo this past weekend (3/2) at the L.A. Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles. SARA performed both “Die With This Life,” as well as her previous single “Better Days” which she recorded with acclaimed Atlanta rapper Rocko. SARA also made time during her Los Angeles trip to stop by the Ronald McDonald House to visit with the children patients. It was announced last week that SARA has partnered with 13-year-old philanthropist ALANNA WALL and her Polished Girlz nonprofit organization to spread joy and entertainment to children with special needs or frequent hospitalizations at facilities across the U.S. Following the visit, SARA invited 30 of the kids and their families to be her VIP guests to the Teen Party Expo.
Born in Vienna, Austria, SARA was first introduced to music through her father, a musical playwright. From a young age, she was enamored with the classics that were the ever-present soundtrack of her native land. Being immersed in the culture and beauty of Vienna fostered a deep love of the arts. She recorded her first song at the tender age of six. At the time, Pink’s “Get The Party Started” was purely for fun, but as SARA grew, music became more of a driving force in her life. At seven, she began playing the piano, an instrument that would later become the vehicle for creating her music.
After moving with her family to Florida when she was 12, SARA discovered writing music as a way to channel her emotions of transitioning from Austria to the U.S. “Everything was BIGGER. The stores, the food, the malls.Austria is old and beautiful. We have little shops and villages there. And I miss the seasons. I miss the cold. Austria is very much like what you see in ‘The Sound of Music.’” SARA acclimated quickly and began focusing her attention to pursuing music full time. At 15, she attended Boston’s Berklee College of Music.
As SARA continues to focus on the recording of her debut album–due out later this year–she’s released three tracks, all of which showcase the young 17-year-old singer/songwriter’s vocal ability and songwriting sensibilities that exhibit maturity beyond her years. Her new song “Better Days” featuring acclaimed Atlanta rapper Rocko was released last month and has already received more than 765,000 views; the official music video for the song can be seen here: youtu.be/ZCrW676asx4. The track follows two singles SARA released last year. Her first single “No Love” came in September, the video for the track has been seen over 64,000 times on YouTube (youtu.be/5-nXQEX6h0Y). Next up was October’s “Fly,” which has garnered over 359,000 views: (youtu.be/5QMut9JNFBw).
