Wipeout: Create & Crash Review


Wipeout: Create & Crash is a tremendously fun game for all ages,l and the Nintendo Wii version of the game does a great job in capturing the humor and intensity of Wipeout. There are 12 different mini-games that provide players a wide array of activities with which to keep interested.

The graphics for Wipeout: Create & Crash push the graphical limits of the Wii while having a bright and vibrant flair. The inclusion of a variety of trophies further increases the replay value of the game, as players will attempt to achieve all of the goals that Activision has included. Both John Henson and John Anderson have laid down a unique vocal track for the title to ensure that players will feel as if they are in an episode of Wipeout. The three modes of Wipeout: Create & Crash – Trap Attack, Wipeout Party and Single Player – feel considerably different from each other. By touching upon a wide array of game play styles, Activision has ensured that the game will remain in Wiis for a long time.

The soft gating system for Wipeout: Create & Crash also allows players to become more familiar with the mini-games; each good run provides players with Ballsy Bucks, which are the currency allowing the game to unlock content. Wipeout: Create & Crash is a perfect stocking stuffer or holiday gift for children and adults, and represents a delightful translation from the show to the Wii.
