Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas Tour Through Summer

Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas are thrilled to announce they’ll play this year’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. One of Paste Magazine’s “Best New Bands of 2014,” Jessica & The Deltas spent all of 2014 on the road winning over music fans with songs that has critics gushing including The New York Times, Latina Magazine, People and NPR’s Weekend Edition who said “[Secret Evil] has it all. It offers a softly strummed rootsy ballad one minute, the oom-pah of Balkan-inspired brass the next, or twangy rockabilly guitars followed by the punch of New Orleans-tinged horns. But in song after song, one thing is consistent: a powerful, undeniable voice.”

Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas’ dynamic live show has been captivating concertgoers of all genres – the band recently toured with St. Paul & The Broken Bones and played Bumbershoot, Riot Fest Chicago, and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival last fall – and they’ll continue to bring their dizzyingly polyglot sonic stew to diverse audiences this spring and summer. In March, the band will head out on a North America tour that will include dates with J Roddy Walston and the Business, followed by their first European tour, which happens to be a three-week run with Social Distortion.

Seattle’s KEXP and Portland’s OPB Music recently had the band stop by to perform some of these new songs catching the attention of both critics and concertgoers. Check out the sessions here:

The band recently made their late night television debut on the Late Show with David Letterman. Letterman was so impressed by the performance that he raved afterward, “Wow, that’s tremendous! That’s it, no more calls! We have a winner, ladies and gentlemen, right here!”  Watch their performance here:
