Smirnoff Sorbet Light Pineapple Coconut Vodka Review

Smirnoff-Sorbet-Light-Pineapple-Coconut

Smirnoff’s Sorbet Light line is one of the few [product offerings that allow imbibers that want to have a diet beverage the ability to have it both taste delectable and still be wholly walloped by the alcohol percentage. The brand has a new offering – Pineapple Coconut – that contains 30% ABV. The vodka contains 78 calories in each shot (1.5 fluid ounce serving size), meaning that one will be able to get away with calorific content in a mixed drink similar to that in a 12 ounce cola (to say nothing about the smaller carbohydrate content of the Pineapple Coconut Vodka).

The Pineapple Coconut flavor provides a hint of the tropics to the cold winter months. While one can easily pick out the two distinct elements, I feel that Smirnoff has done well in keeping the flavor profile equally balanced between the inimitable vodka taste and the fruit elements. The vodka will do perfectly in a shot format, and will provide a unique flavor profile to any one of the many mixed drinks that utilize vodka. I personally liked mixing in a shot or two of the Smirnoff Pineapple Coconut Sorbet Light into orange juice to provide new life into the screwdriver. Despite the number of inclusions that are present in a Long Island Iced Tea, the Pineapple Coconut is able to soldier through and give the timeless drink a further kick in the pants.

Individuals that wish to purchase a bottle of the Smirnoff Sorbet Light vodka (including the new Pineapple Coconut flavor) can do so at liquor stores. A 750ml bottle will likely run from $10-15; make sure to pick these vodkas up for anyone that likes partaking in spirits but wishes to stay svelte.
