PORTER ROBINSON "LIONHEARTED" NEW SINGLE OUT TODAY

Porter Robinson makes his acting debut in the new video for “Lionhearted“; the third single off his forthcoming debut album “Worlds”. Setting forth on a fantastical and vandalous rampage, Porter leads a disruptive gang of Harajuku girls through the night, and in the wake of their destruction beautiful chaos ensues.

Directed by Jodeb (who previously worked with Porter on his “Language” music video), “Lionhearted” is brought further to life with colorful authenticity by Harajuku-based stylist Elleanor Yamaguchi a.k.a. Elleanor Tokyo (who also stars in the video).

The new single (out today) is a driving alt-electronic anthem that features surging vocals from Swedish indie outfit Urban Cone as it pushes-and-pulls between ambient sighs and power chords, calling to mind an imaginary battle that is now realized in its stunning new video.

“Lionhearted” is the third single from Porter Robinson’s debut album “Worlds,” out August 12th on Astralwerks. It follows #1 HypeM single “Sad Machine” (a duet between Porter and a vocaloid robot), and the dazzling lead single “Sea of Voices“. All three singles are available for instant download as part of the “Worlds” album pre-order now live at smarturl.it/WORLDSVinylCD.

Following “Worlds” release, Porter will head out on a massive North American headline tour that will see him playing live for the first time; manipulating multi-tracks, triggering samples, playing midi keys and using controllers to create a live show. Lemaitre and Giraffage will provide support on the upcoming tour.
