The Downtown Fiction is excited to release the music video for their single “Some Place on Earth” today on VEVO. The video follows two adventurers as they as sketch and photograph their journey towards a secret location.
“We shot the ‘Some Place on Earth’ video in the hills of Malibu, which turned out to be a fitting setting for the song’s epic quality,” explains lead singer Cameron Leahy. “These two characters are wandering through a beautiful, barren landscape, which is how we all feel sometimes, I think. We’re all on our own search for truth and none of us are exempt from the highs or the lows. It’s a song about tolerance and love–the world could always use more of that.”
“Some Place on Earth” is now available on iTunes and will be featured on the band’s forthcoming new album, which is slated for release in 2014.
