REAL FRIENDS ANNOUNCE DETAILS FOR MAYBE THIS PLACE IS THE SAME AND WE'RE JUST CHANGING

Real Friends is excited to unveil the details for their first full-length and Fearless Records debut Maybe This Place Is The Same And We’re Just Changing, set for release on July 22nd.

Bassist and songwriter, Kyle Fasel explains, “We are beyond excited to show all of our fans what we have been working on. We have experienced so much change over the past year. The change has affected us not only as people, but song writers as well. We feel like that change has made it time for a full length record”

Lead vocalist Dan Lambton continues, “Even the past year has seen a lot of drastic changes with us: transitioning into full time touring, signing to a label, putting out a full length album. When it comes down to it it really doesn’t matter what i think about this record, it’s up to you to decide what this album means to you. That’s what’s great about this little world we’re in: you get to see what really speaks to you. I’m looking forward to you hearing it, we took a lot of time putting together an album that we believe is a solid and progressive effort, and i hope that shines through once it’s out in july. Thank you for listening.”

The recent cover stars of Alternative Press’ 100 Bands You Need To Know Issue, Real Friends are gearing up for their 20-date European tour with Modern Baseball and You Blew It!. The band just wrapped up a recent North American spring tour with The Wonder Years and are looking forward to a full summer on the Vans Warped Tour 2014.

REAL FRIENDS - Dan Lambton (Vocals), Dave Knox (Guitar), Kyle Fasel (bass), Eric Haines (Guitar) and Brian Blake (drums) - Led by charismatic vocalist Dan Lambton and pushed lyrically by Kyle Fasel, Chicagoland quintet, Real Friends grew organically through a succession of heart-on-sleeve and hook-in-mouth pop-punk as timeless and as passionate as their influences. Following a successful string of EPs, Real Friends waited to sign with a record label until the time was just right. Now one of Alternative Press’ Most Anticipated Bands of 2014, the band have teamed up with Fearless Records for the release of their highly-anticipated debut full-length, standing poised for their biggest summer yet.
